MTOsport 2017
Within a few months of the market premier in 2017, the new MTOsport received the Red Dot Design Award in the product design category.
The Red Dot Design Award is a prestigious competition with over 18,000 yearly entries from design professionals, companies and organizations worldwide. It is one of the world’s largest and most renowned design competitions, with participants from over 70 countries.
In 2018, the MTOsport 2017 was honored to receive the renowned German Design Award from the German Design Council, which is commissioned by the German Bundestag (the lower house of German parliament) as a foundation since 1953. The foundation is one of the world’s leading competence centers for communication and brand management in the field of design. Out of approximately 1,900 high-quality nominations, the award winners are the best 90 design products.
Pure craftsmanship – Made in Germany
MTOsport is designed to incorporate aesthetics, functionality, and elegance, creating a distinctive and appealing aircraft.
The MTOsport 2017 tandem seated model is probably the best in the world. Stunning to look at and stunning to fly. Smooth, low vibration, fast, comfortable, economical, this is a machine to envy. Yet it is a real workhorse too.
The rugged stainless steel airframe withstands the rigours of day-to-day work, proven in 20 years of service. Maintenance is easy, with fast removable cowlings, giving quick access to the low maintenance Rotax 915 or 916 series engines.
The Aluminium rotors, chosen for robustness and reliability (composite rotors tend to suffer in high and low temperatures, and suffer rain erosion), chop through whatever the weather throws at them.
And AutoGyro is rightly proud of the safety features. The MTOsport 2017 provides excellent protection with top-notch harnesses and multiple safety systems, including integrated warning systems and latest generation ADSB equipment. This is where the years and years of AutoGyro experience count.
In today’s world where regulations are critical, there is inevitably a need for paperwork. The MTOsport 2017 has many local country approvals and also carries a full standard category of airworthiness, unique in the gyroplane world. Irrespective of the required certification documentation, the MTOsport is an established and internationally acknowledged safe aircraft.
Could that be why the Turkish Jandarma chose AutoGyro as their aircraft supplier for their aerial gyroplane fleet?
Whether you are flying for leisure or have a specific purpose in mind, such as running a flying school, or engaging in water operations or fishing, AutoGyro offers a wide range of aircraft packages tailored to meet your needs.
The MTOsport 2017 offers a vast selection of features and options that can be combined, including amphibious floats and night VFR. Contact us to discuss your dreams, and we can design the perfect package to fit.
